Lee Contracting delivered the full groundworks package for a new multi-million-pound swimming and fitness centre in Whitchurch, Shropshire,
in partnership with Pellikaan Construction.

This major public-sector leisure development included a new swimming pool and fitness centre, requiring complex substructure, drainage,
and external works delivered with precise coordination and high standards of quality and safety.

Scope of Works

  • Foul and surface water drainage and sewer connections
  • Substructure foundations and pile caps, including intrinsic bolt boxes
  • Bulk excavation for swimming pool and associated structures
  • Installation of attenuation tank and hydrobrake chambers
  • Full site enabling works, including preparation for external landscaping
  • Completion of external works: kerbing, street furniture, footpaths, and car parks
